This was a joint project with TCD, funded by an industrial partner and Enterprise Ireland through the Innovation Partnership programme. |

| James Dwan | Research interests in the following areas: Materials with special interests in: Diamond Tools, Diamond Impregnated Metal Matrices (DIMMs); Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics of DIMMs; Powder Metallurgy; Determination of Mechanical Properties of PM & DIMM Materials, including Fracture Toughness & Fatigue Properties Fatigue Threshold & Crack Propagation studies & Wear. Heat Treatment Processes of Steels. Research interests also include Bioengineering, Blood Flow Analysis & Orthopaedic Research studies. James has over thirty research papers published in both referred journals and conference proceedings in Diamond Materials. James is a member of both the IPPD Group and the Bioengineering Technology Centre |
