About the Course

 

Students who complete this programme and achieve this award are prepared for gaining positions of responsibility in marketing. The modules introduce students to the study of consumer behaviour, marketing research, marketing communications, financial management, international marketing and e-business. Student’s communication and teamwork skills are also fostered and real issues from the world of marketing are addressed and studied. Students are well prepared for a role on a marketing team.

students_male_female Students may elect to choose PC Business Applications and Advanced Business Computing to develop computing skills in this area. Those who stay on and apply for the Honours Bachelor Degree programme will study marketing issues in greater depth and detail. The European language option – French, German or Spanish  may also be chosen on the programme.

What do I Need?

Entry Requirements for the Honours Bachelor Degree of Business Degree:
Leaving Certificate with a minimum of Grade C3 in two Higher Level subjects, and a minimum of Grade D3 (Ordinary Level) in 4 other subjects in the Leaving Certificate Examination, which must include Mathematics and English or Irish.
