About the Course
The Accounting Technicians Ireland is one of the fastest-growing professional bodies in this country. This course has two parts: Foundation level and Admission level. Successful candidates of the Accounting Technician course are qualified to work as accounting technicians within the accountancy profession or alternatively can pursue one of the main professional accountancy qualifications with generous exemptions. The Accounting Technicians Ireland is a partner body of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, which means that it has close links with the accounting profession as a whole and with major employers.

Year 2
Accounting, Information Technology in Business, Company Law, costing and Budgeting, TAS Books.

Entry Level
Five passes in Leaving Certificate subjects at grade D or better or four passes at grade D at least two of which are on higher level papers. Subjects must include English and Mathematics or Accountancy. IATI consider the applications from a person who is 21 years or older on the basis of his/her age and work experience. Career Opportunities
Students who have successfully completed this course will have shown that they are able to offer competent accounting support to business managers in different aspects of the financial world. Qualified Members of the Accounting Technicians Ireland may apply to pursue the Ordinary Business Degree in Accounting in ITT Dublin to enhance their qualification.
