Department of Mechanical Engineering
We have about 65 students taking parttime Mechanical Engineering programmes. Our most popular course is the Level 8 Bachelor of Engineering Honours Degree. Most students doing this would be working in industry in a technical role and would see the course as a means of furthering their professional development. All our courses have compulsory management modules. This means that students gain an appreciation of the business side, which is helpful if they want to go into management or supervisory roles.
