Information Technology & Reprographics Services
The Institute provides a large variety of Computing Services to all staff postgraduate students and undergraduate students. The Information Technology Manager, John Hannigan, works with specialist teams to deliver these technological based services.
World Wide Web access:
As well as having access to computer networks within the Institute, access is also available to the World Wide Web, which allows for the acquisition of information suitable for student project and research work. Internet access is controlled and monitored to ensure proper usage of the Institute’s facilities.
Network Access:
Each full time registered student has a unique ID and password, which allows access to the Institute’s network. Each postgraduate student has access to store research project related work on the network.
Printing Facilities:
Printing is available in all computing labs and postgraduate office accommodation. The Reprographics Centre maintains all printing and copying devices in the Institute. The Reprographics Centre is managed by NRG and is located on the first floor.
