Master of Science - Distributed & Mobile Computing

The MSc in Distributed and Mobile Computing provides an opportunity for IT professionals to enhance and update their knowledge of the latest technologies and research activities within the important fields of distributed and mobile computing.

The programme comprises two taught semesters of modules followed by a dissertation - a mini-thesis on a research area that the student has investigated and completed a practical piece of work for the purpose of the investigation.

The programme can be completed part-time in two calendar years. Students typically attend the Institute two nights per week taking an average of two modules per semester. In the second year students also complete a dissertation.
