Password Reset Facility
Forgotten Password:
ITT Dublin provides the facility for staff and Students from the School of Business and Humanities to reset their passwords if they do not remember them or they have expired.
The School of Engineering also provides this facility and can be availed of from Engineering computer labs in the college.
How to Use It:
Before you can use the system to reset your password, you need to have registered in the system first.
To register with the Password Reset facility:
1.Login into https://passwordreset.ittdublin.ie/QPM/User/. [Opens in a separate window]
2.Select the “Domain” that your account belongs to. (Students: stu.it-tallaght.ie, Staff: stf.it-tallaght.ie)
3.Enter you login name in the box provided. (For students, this is your student number, i.e. X000…)
4.Click “Search” and this should bring you to a new page as below:
5.You must now register your security questions so that when you need it, you can use the website to reset your password.
6.To register the first time, you need to know your current password. The website will ask you for this password when you register.
7.After you enter your password, you will be asked to select your Security Questions. Select the questions that suit you best and enter your answers in the appropriate area.
Please Note: The college cannot see your answers nor the password you enter.
8.Click “Finish” and you have now registered. From now on, if you forget your password or your password expires, you will be able to reset it yourself from outside or inside the college.

I forgot My Password:
If you have forgotten your password, you go to the website either from the login screen on one of the PCs in the School of Business and Humanities computer labs or from the website: https://passwordreset.ittdublin.ie/QPM/User/ [Opens in a separate window]
How to use the website to reset your Password
1.Open the webpage: https://passwordreset.ittdublin.ie/QPM/User/ [Opens in a separate window]
2.Select the “Domain” that your account belongs to. (Students: stu.it-tallaght.ie, Staff: stf.it-tallaght.ie)
3.Enter you login name in the box provided. (For students, this is your student number, i.e. X000…)
4.Click “Search” and this should bring you to a new page as below:
5.Select “Forgot My Password” and this will bring you to a page asking you to enter your Security Questions.
6.Once you have correctly answered your Security Questions, you will be asked to enter a new password for your account.
7.Once you have set your new password, you should again be able to login to PCs and resources in the college.
