BPNR Funding
In the years leading up to the formation of BPNR its members had secured over €2.6 million from external funding agencies for postgraduate research. The majority of the funding came from the HEA PRTLI Cycle 3 and PRDSP Strand 3 programmes, which are still ongoing. Funding has also been secured from the HRP, PRDSP Strand 1 and EI programmes. Internal funding has also been obtained, predominantly from the ITT Dublin PhD Continuation scheme. In the last academic year 2005-06 BPNR researchers were successful in securing two more PRDSP Strand 1 awards.
