Work Placement Programme
The Computing programmes at ITT Dublin offer students the opportunity to prepare for a broad range of careers as a computing professional. The BSc. (IT Management) prepares graduates to work in the management of the IT infrastructure in an organisation. The course also provides the student with the business and technical acumen to move into more management roles as their careers develop.
This programme includes a semester of work placement in the information technology division of an organisation either in Ireland or abroad. The IT Industrial Placement Programme (iTIPP) is undertaken by students at the start of their third year studies. It is a work placement programme designed to link theory and practice. Students gain important on the job experience and skill through 6 to 8 month work placements with participating companies. Placements take place between June and January.
