Management and Organisation of CREATE
The research centre is co-ordinated by Dr. Eithne Dempsey (pictured below) BSc PhD MRSC CCHEM, Lecturer in Chemistry at ITT Dublin and Leader of the Biomedical Devices Area of the recently established Centre of Applied Science for Health (CASH) funded under PRTLI Cycle 4.
Dr. James Hayes is Centre Manager of the Microsensors for Clinical analysis spin-off commercialisation centre (http://www.micra.ie) funded under the Enterprise Ireland Applied Research Enhancement programme). Members of the external steering advisory board who have input into the strategic direction of the centre include Ken Carroll (ITT Dublin), Una Moran (Enterprise Ireland), Marie D’Arcy (EPONA), Diarmuid O Brien (CRANN TCD), Brendan Smith (BIMEDA), Seamus Kilmartin (Utility Saver).The total group is currently comprised of 4 postdoctoral fellows and 9 postgraduate researchers.
The research group is comprised of postdoctoral fellows, research assistant and postgraduate researchers funded under national and international sources.
