Technology Transfer Lab
The technology transfer laboratory, consisting of bench-top synthetic, analytical, tableting, granulation and ointment and cream facilities includes a kilo-laboratory scale facility and also a bench-top formulations area.
The laboratory incorporates a two-litre scale chemical reactor, which includes a:
- heat exchanger
- distillate receiver
- filtration system
- NIR probe
- temperature sensor and it is fully automated
- along with a preparative HPLC system.
The laboratory also has a benchtop formulations unit which includes the necessary pieces of equipment for wet and dry formulations including tableting, milling and a blending, a fluid bed dryer along with a 10 kg Stria granulator / pelletor (wet and dry).
