What expenses are covered?
Examples of the services/facilities/situations for which students can apply for assistance:
- Books/Materials
- Transport
- Rent
- Heat/Light/Food
- Medical/Dental expenses
- Costs of compulsory study abroad
- Accident
- Bereavement
Remember:
If you are approved for assistance you will be asked to provide receipts for all the expenditure you are seeking assistance for. Make sure to keep your receipts until you are asked for them.
What is not covered?
Registration fees, tuition fees, and loans are not covered by this Fund.
Childcare:
This Fund does not cover Childcare costs. There is a Crèche on campus and the cost is subsidised. Registered Full time students are eligible to apply for places and financial support will be provided for approved applicants.
