Dance

A Brand new Hip Hop Dance class is starting this year in St. Maelruain’s Hall every week. What better way to keep fit, meet new friends and have fun! Hip-Hop is non-partner dancing to contemporary music, the kind of dancing often seen in today's music videos. It emphasizes body movement and rhythm.
As a dance style, hip-hop is all about rhythm, energy and attitude.
This class integrates R&B, street jazz and different styles of hip-hop. Give your mind and body a workout by learning some challenging hip-hop choreography in this energetic dance class to suit all levels. Interested in further pursuing your dance skills and goals? Want to polish up your dance skills and be the centre of attention in the nightclub? Then this class is for you!
The class is definitely aerobic; in other words hip-hop is pretty aggressive form of dance, so you will get a great workout, but it's
also a dance class with momentum. No experience necessary so if you’re interested in having fun and learning the newest dance
moves this is the class for you! Push your limits in this high-energy hip-hop dance class with qualified instructor Gráinne Anderson AIDTA. NB: Wear comfortable clothing and supportive shoes, i.e.: runners/cross trainers
Please remember to bring a bottle of water!
