Irish/Erasmus Cultural Society
This will be the 5th year of the society and it has been one of the most active, organising cultural and social trips’ all over Ireland. Some of the trips included a barge cruise on the River Shannon, tours to Killarney, Powerscourt and Connemara. The society has been very successful in achieving its aim of bringing together a diverse student body under the same umbrella. The society will again need to be initiated at the start of the year to get together and build on the success of the society. Some points from last years Committee for Erasmus Students:
1) Your year abroad is certainly going to be fun and if you join our Society you will soon establish new friends, improve your
language abilities, visit museums, make trips, enjoy the traditional music of Ireland, create meaningful experiences that will help you to move and feel more comfortable in this country!
2) Confront and discuss your feelings about experiences and living in a new and different culture, participate with new ideas,
initiatives! Every year the society needs support making plans for events, visits, tours and believe it or not you will bring this
culture experience with you when going on holidays.
Now a message for everybody:
3) We hope our members will be at least 50% Irish and the success of the society is dependent on you all, your attitude, effort and enthusiasm!!!
