Mature Students Society
When starting college at 18 or 19 years old you ask yourself “am I doing the right thing”, “have I made the right choices?”
These are perfectly normal doubts. Whether you are 24, 34, 44 or 54 you may be asking yourself the same questions. The goal of the mature student society is to assist in the transition to third level education.
It provides encouragement to those that may have been out of the academic environment for a long time to ensure they have a fulfilling student experience. The society provides help, advice and social opportunities for the ever increasing numbers of mature students particularly in the “fish out of water” first months in college. Members meet both formally and informally for social nights and other get to know you sessions.
