How to Join or Set up a Club or Society:
Clubs and Societies Open Day - All the clubs and societies will have their colourful stands in the College on Fresher week. This is when they recruit new and old members and many organise special activities for beginners. Applications for a stand are available from the Students Union and the Sports and Recreation Officer. We will also have a clubs and societies day on campus the first week of classes in February for new clubs and societies set up during the year and to re-launch all activities.
If you didn’t join on Clubs and Societies day, it’s not too late!
Call to the Students Union or the Sports and Recreation Officer for assistance and we can put you in contact with the right people. Also, all Clubs and Societies will have contact details and activities posted on the notice boards and website. If you feel that there is no Club or Society offering a particular activity, call to the Students Union or Sports and Recreation Officer to discuss it. If you feel you are interested in setting up and/or helping run a Club or Society you will be given as much suppport as you require in establishing this Club or Society.
