The Astropark
Located on the Greenhill’s Road. Go through the village, past Molloys pub. Turn left at the traffic lights. The Astropark is up this road on your right, past the fitness centre.
Activities:
5 a side soccer. Vouchers are available in the Students Union. Astropark consists of 11 outdoor Astroturf pitches with shower and changing facilities. There are also bar facilities and food available upstairs.
Recreation Five a Side Soccer Voucher System
Any class, group of eight or more can book a pitch at the Astropark. Any hour between 10am - 5pm Monday to Friday can be booked. A voucher can be obtained from the Students Union. Demand is high so book early! Once the voucher is obtained the cost of the pitch is €3 payable at the Astropark. Allocation of vouchers is on Mondays.
